- Proficiency in AWS.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Rust programming.
- Familiarity with using Cargo (package manager).
- Experience with automation controls is a plus.
- Experience with object-oriented design and implementation (2-5 years).
- Familiarity with developing embedded or cloud applications.
- Foundational understanding of AWS/Azure Cloud services and solutions.
- Knowledge of object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful API or GraphQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience using build and deployment tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS Build/Deploy.
- Work on the inception phase of projects, collecting requirements, suggesting methodologies, and release planning.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in software development.
- Influence and strengthen the development culture within the team.
- Mentor and encourage globally dispersed developers to apply industry best practices.
- Design, implement, and support solutions and applications.
- Create efficient, reusable, modular, and maintainable code in Rust.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and globally dispersed teams.
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
- Build highly reliable applications requiring minimal support and maintenance.
