    Description


    Insight Global's client is a charter school in the south Boston area looking for a principal for their high school campus.

    The principal will be overseeing grades 8-12 in a school setting of approximately 200 students.

    Essential duties and responsibilities


    • Setting performance objectives for students and teachers in grades 8-12
    • Implementing, updating and monitoring school policies, curriculum and safety protocols
    • Overviewing administrative tasks
    • Collaborating with essential departments at the school on needs and improvements
    • Building and maintaining relationships between faculty, staff, students and families

    Required Skills & Experience


    • 2+ years of experience as an assistant principal in a high school setting or a director level role within education
    • Experience coaching and leading educators
    • Experience working with school policy and curriculum development
    • Experience building relationships with students and families
    • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience


    • Experience as a high school principal
    • Experience as a teacher in a high school setting

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

    Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
