- Developing and implementing instructional strategies and teaching practices to improve curriculum and instruction including but not limited to staff development.
- Developing a school culture that enhances student learning.
- Recommending and evaluating school personnel.
- Maintaining a positive learning environment by implementing a discipline process that is fair and consistent.
- Ordering, issuing and maintaining an inventory of instructional supplies and textbooks.
- Scheduling of students and teachers that is aligned with district philosophy and the vision of the school.
- Maintaining a preventive facility maintenance program.
- Working with Advisory Council and P.T.A. and other school related support groups.
- Problem solving issues related to students, teachers and/or parents that go beyond the surface and are viable.
- Maintaining an effective working relationship with faculty and staff.
