- Primary liaison with construction project manager/subcontractors for the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
- Participate in the pre-construction planning sessions by trade to be familiar with the unique characteristics of the schedule and trade interface.
- Ensure material is delivered to the construction site per the construction schedule.
- Overseeing work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation.
- Resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule and all other appropriate matters.
- Creating schedules and determining sequencing of work.
- Advise the Project Manager of circumstances and issues that will have a significant impact on the project schedule
- Verify change orders are outside Subcontractors scope of work.
- Mentor & Develop Assistant Superintendents to become successful Superintendents.
- Inspection of Contractor or (sub)Contract operations to ensure compliance with contract
- 10+ years of experience in the Construction Management field.
- Knowledge of industrial construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contracts, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Procore.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess strong technical, communication and computer skills, including email and document management/organization

The Construction Manager (Superintendent) is primarily responsible for executing projects from start to finish; the ability to complete projects on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations.
