    Remote Senior Tax Manager Opportunity

    This Jobot Job is hosted by: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our organization's tax policies and objectives.

    You will be tasked with ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, while also identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial practices.

    Tax Compliance and Strategy:
    Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax documents, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Develop and implement strategic tax plans to maximize efficiency and minimize liabilities.

    Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals. Ensure continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations.

    Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyze financial records to forecast tax obligations. Prepare detailed reports on the company's tax situation and present findings to upper management.

    Risk Management:
    Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring adherence to compliance standards. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary.

    Process Improvement:
    Continually assess and improve tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Serve as the primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Provide expert guidance on tax matters to support business decisions.

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management, with a proven track record in a senior role.

    Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax planning and compliance.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
