As a Youth Development Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of promoting social development by conducting recreational and psycho-educational group activities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and organize recreational activities and educational excursions.
Establish connections with students, promoting the development of social skills, and advocating for their requirements.
Lead educational groups and preventative initiatives.
Ensure prompt documentation and data entry into our Information Management System.
Offer essential case management assistance to students.
Track academic and behavioral advancements, delivering guidance and assistance when necessary.
Contribute to the creation and promotion of programs within schools and the wider community.
Collaborate with team members to address potential cases of mistreatment and overlook, ensuring the safety and welfare of our young individuals.

Qualifications:

High School diploma minimum requirement; Bachelor's Degree in a human services field is preferred.

3 years of experience as a youth service provider, demonstrating effective performance in an urban environment.

Understanding of adolescent development and available community resources.

Excellent interpersonal abilities, fostering a welcoming, therapeutic environment, and collaborating effectively within a team setting.
