This is a wage position with no benefits.

Ability to work every other weekend from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and occasional extra evenings as needed is required.

Hours may not exceed 1500 in a year between May 1st - April 30th.


Job Duties

  • Assists in the coordination of programs with other departments in the Center and with community resources as assigned.
  • Conducts recreation and leisure programs to meet the assessed needs, interest, and capabilities of the residents.
  • Maintains a daily attendance log and documents residents' level of involvement. Assist with setting meal trays and escorting residents to the dining hall.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of memory care programming with demonstrated experience in caring for residents with Dementia.
  • Must possess the physical ability to turn, bend and lift without restrictions. Ability to read, write and communicate ideas.

Additional Considerations

  • Experience working in a longterm care or adult geriatric setting.
