This is a wage position with no benefits.

Ability to work every other weekend from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and occasional extra evenings as needed is required.

Hours may not exceed 1500 in a year between May 1st - April 30th.

Job Duties

Assists in the coordination of programs with other departments in the Center and with community resources as assigned.
Conducts recreation and leisure programs to meet the assessed needs, interest, and capabilities of the residents.
Maintains a daily attendance log and documents residents' level of involvement. Assist with setting meal trays and escorting residents to the dining hall.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of memory care programming with demonstrated experience in caring for residents with Dementia.
Must possess the physical ability to turn, bend and lift without restrictions. Ability to read, write and communicate ideas.

Additional Considerations

Experience working in a longterm care or adult geriatric setting.
