The successful candidate will be part of a well-established team of 16 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, providing comprehensive mental health services. Inpatient care is delivered in a 24-bed unit in Akron, with inpatient psychiatrists also offering consultation services to hospitalized patients. Other programs, such as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services, are available in Akron and regional centers. General outpatient services are accessible at various locations throughout Northeast Ohio. Additionally, the Psychiatric Intake Response Center, situated within the Emergency Departments at both Akron Childrens Hospitals, ensures access to behavioral health services round the clock.
This position offers:
Requirements for this role include an MD or DO degree, certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, a minimum of three years of experience, and eligibility to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.
This opportunity is based at a 501(c)(3) site that qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
