Education assistance
Our education assistance program spends over $3 million annually to invest in the higher education of our team members through continuing education and tuition reimbursement. The standard benefit ranges from $1,000-$2,500 per year based on your status as full-time, part-time or on-call/casual and some may be eligible to receive up to $5,250 in tuition reimbursement per year.

Paid Time Off
Time off helps maintain a strong work/life balance. From taking a vacation to celebrating holidays, managing personal appointments and obligations to staying home when you’re sick, PTO can reduce stress. At Akron Children’s, PTO hours are earned and accrue (yes, even for part-time employees) based on your job classification, date of hire, years of service and the number of hours you’ve been paid. Accrual rates increase at 3, 6, 13 and 18 years of service.
