The ideal candidate will become part of a well-established group of 16 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care services. Our inpatient care is delivered in a 24-bed unit in Akron, managed by psychiatrists who also work as liaisons for consultations with hospitalized patients. We offer partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs both in Akron and in our regional facilities. General outpatient services are available across Northeast Ohio at multiple sites. Moreover, our Psychiatric Intake Response Center, situated within the Emergency Departments at our hospitals, grants round-the-clock access to behavioral health services, 7 days a week.
This role is based at a 501(c)(3) location, therefore eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program under the Federal government.
This position comes with:
Requirements comprise an MD or DO degree, board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, a minimum of three years of practice, and the ability to secure an active medical license in Ohio.
