    Description

    We collaborate with an amazing company that serves as in-house legal counsel for a leading Private Equity Firm specializing in real estate investments in top US markets alongside institutional investors.

    The Real Estate Attorney will handle all legal affairs for the Private Equity Company, covering real estate transactions, leasing, property management, construction, and general corporate legal issues. The firm is actively acquiring new assets and expanding swiftly.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Transaction Management: Overseeing major acquisitions and disposals, including drafting and negotiating REAs.
    • Finance Operations: Managing significant finance transactions from inception to completion.
    • Lease Negotiations: Engaging in negotiations for prominent retail and logistics leases.
    • Construction and Development Support: Assisting the construction and development team with all related matters, such as construction agreements.
    • Corporate Affairs: Drafting corporate documents and offering advice on transactional matters.
    • Title, Survey, and Due Diligence: Supervising the assessment of title, survey, and due diligence matters.
    • Consultation: Direct collaboration with the senior management to offer legal advice, create best practices, and enhance processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bar Admission in Florida or willingness to take the Florida Bar exam shortly after joining.
    • Background in commercial real estate, preferably in a large law firm representing real estate equity funds or institutional investors.
    • Prior experience in an in-house legal setting is a plus.
    • Knowledge of retail assets is advantageous.
    • Business-focused attorney who is a team player, proactive, and detail-oriented.
    • Ability to establish strong relationships, possess excellent communication skills, excel in organization, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
