    We are excited to invite a compassionate and organized professional to join our team as a full-time or part-time Probate and Trust Administration Paralegal.     Responsibilities:

    • Attend and engage in client meetings
    • Prepare initial drafts of engagement letters, probate pleadings, and correspondence to clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions.
    • Collaborate with supervising attorney on Probate pleadings and compliance with court's checklists
    • E-file pleadings with the probate court
    • Analyze financial documents and summarize in excel spreadsheets
    • Prepare inventory of assets
    • Prepare drafts of trust disclosure documents
    • Prepare checklists for all administrations with all deadlines including tax filings
    • Calendar all important dates
    • Interface with clients, financial advisors, and accountants
    • Input data, organize exhibits and prepare initial drafts of federal estate tax returns

    Requirements:

    • Have 5+ years of probate and trust administration experience with a law firm
    • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or paralegal certificate
    • Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office ( Word, and Excel), Adobe Acrobat and Google Calendar, and Google Drive.
    • Bloomberg BNA 706 preparer and Westlaw Form Builder for Florida Probates, (experience preferred, but will train)
    • Display strong organizational skills
