- Conduct interviews, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline restaurant associates.
- Participate in the evaluation of restaurant staff for efficient operation.
- Oversee schedules and direct staff in their work assignments.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for both guests and associates.
- Ensure all restaurant equipment is in working order.
- Conduct visual inspections and take corrective actions to maintain an appealing and attractive restaurant environment for guests.
- Provide guidance for improvement and implement necessary adjustments within the restaurant.
- Manage work orders to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
- Move throughout the facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and adjust to maintain food quality and service standards.
- Verify temperatures, judge appearance and taste of products, and check preparation methods to determine quality.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on service and food quality.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Document inventory forecasts and monitor supplies, ensuring the restaurant is stocked with necessary items for guest service.
- Oversee the setup of dining and service areas.
