    • Sign-on bonus: Up to $12,000.00

    • Department: Behavioral Health - Emergency Department

    • Schedule: Full-time; Nights, 7:00 p.m. -7:00 a,m., with rotating weekends and holidays

    • Hospital: St. Mary's Hospital

    • Location: Chicago, IL

    Note: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Services, or Social Work is required

    Responsibilities
    Provide behavioral health counseling services.


    • Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
    • Administer individual and group therapy.
    • Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
    • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
    • Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
    • Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

    Requirements


    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.

    Additional Preferences



    Education:
     Master's degree in Counseling, Social Services, or Social Work is preferred
