- Drive a culture of accountability within the Maintenance and Facilities teams as well as cross functionally within the organization.
- Challenge the status quo and drive targeted urgency in our actions.
- Collaborate and communicate with Management to plan and evaluate workflow to meet operational goals effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible for tracking performance of projects to goals and providing monthly update information.
- Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones, and forthcoming pipeline. Clearly establish project goals and objectives and effectively track to project timelines.
- Support the local management to improve existing processes, utilizing data driven analytics and tools (MTTR, MTBF, Root Cause, etc.).
- Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to analyze team performance and actively work with all departments to drive root cause analysis and form corrective action plans.
- Develop and build a culture of engagement at all levels of the business to provide a highly energized team flexible to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Train and increase the skillset of the maintenance and facilities staff.
- Lead and coach employees through workshops designed to improve machine uptime.
- Manage labor hours across a 3-shift operation with weekend support.
- Assist in the creation of the annual Maintenance and Facilities budgets while managing previously agreed budgets.
- Identify and drive capital improvements.
- Support the planning and commissioning of capital equipment.
- Drive and support daily 6S activities.
- Develop long term and meaningful relationships on a partnership basis with our suppliers. Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance and facilities work. This requires a strategic outlook based on competitive focused quality, delivery service, price and cooperative problem solving.
- Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge & experience of working with Lean 6 Sigma continuous improvement and problem-solving tools and techniques.
- Ability to analyze technical data.
- Background in manufacturing environments working with highly complex hydraulic, PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Strong team building, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Background in people management and project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Minitab, ACAD, and simulation software are preferable.

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget. You will lead a team of 16 employees to meet equipment TA and OEE company goals as well as maintaining all facilities within the organization. You will support leadership in achieving objectives (cost savings, revenue generation and working capital reduction) via rapid progression towards world-class levels of performance.Primary Activities/Duties:
Must be a self-starter that is able to organize and report daily activities. Must also be able to work in a fast paced environment, adapt to assignment changes easily, ability to multi-task, learn office procedures and learn and use new software. Must be detail oriented; communicate effectively via oral and written communications with all levels of employees, vendors and customers.

Wear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, protective gloves, hearing protection and additional personal protective equipment where required.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and heavy manufacturing environment.
