- Lead and manage all phases of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee the bidding and procurement process, including the selection of vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, particularly those specific to healthcare facilities.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners, to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and resolve issues.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, safety protocols, and compliance with project specifications.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment among project team members, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly as they relate to healthcare facilities.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to healthcare construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) preferred.
