Hiring 1st and 2nd shift


1st shift hours:
5AM-3:30PM. 2nd shift 3:30PM-2AM. Monday-Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays depending on work load.


Summary:

Responsible for the safe operation of all divisions machinery he has received training on per Davidson Plyforms 6.2.2 Personnel Training Plan.

Responsible to adhere to all safety, quality and operational standards, and perform the following duties:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned)

  • 5.1. To be fully trained and signed off as a level 2 operator within 1 year on the machine (s) assigned to operate.
  • 5.2. Responsible for meeting production rates and quality standards.
  • 5.3. Perform necessary quality verifications.
  • 5.4. Perform general preventive maintenance on machinery.
  • 5.5. Full compliance with all safety rules and policies.
  • 5.7. Follow all departmental ISO procedures and work instructions.
  • 5.8. To work as a team member.
  • 5.9. To maintain work area cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping.
To pursue training opportunities which further job skills.


User defined:
Be familiar with and able to utilize a tape measure and calipers.
Demonstrate basic math skills.
Be knowledgeable with the decimal system and be able to read a ruler.
Be able to read a blueprint.


Qualification Requirements:

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 6.2. Experience; One to three months related experience and/or training
  • 6.3.

Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two
- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

  • 6.4.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
