    Description

    Position Summary: The Systems Test Engineer will develop and execute system test protocols, including bug reporting and resolution. This role involves conducting ad-hoc, exploratory, and regression testing of Web Applications and Mobile Apps (Android and iOS). Additionally, the engineer will manage laboratory logistics for the Remote Care Systems Engineering lab, though this will occupy a smaller portion of the role.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Perform system testing of Web Applications and Mobile Apps (Android and iOS).
    • Utilize available test procedures to conduct various types of test execution, both manual and automated.
    • Report issues, re-test, and conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing of products.
    • Assist in the overall evaluation of product quality.
    • Apply technical concepts and practices, with a comprehensive understanding of product or systems fundamentals in a functional area, and possess working knowledge of related disciplines.
    • Operate within a quality system environment, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
    • Display accountability for work performed and ensure high-quality product delivery by adhering to processes, including regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain the Remote Care Systems lab in good condition, ensuring up-to-date equipment and software.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
    • Experience in general engineering/science principles and laboratory skills.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
    • Quick learner with the ability to understand the domain, analyze data needs, and possess good communication skills for participation in various forums.
    • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
