- Responsible for leading a supply chain team including staffing, training, coaching, and professional development
- Generates and manages department budget.
- Optimizes department workflow; creates and maintains policies and procedures.
- Maintains required quantity of materials, parts and services to meet production goals.
- Works within custom, low volume, specialty environment.
- Manages physical inventory and provides results annually to the leadership team
- Coordinates and supports needs of stakeholders (programs, operations, engineering, etc.) to provide information and guidance on availability and cost of materials, parts and services.
- Ensures materials and parts storage are in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Focuses on achieving best value for material, parts and services.
- Responsible for suppliers performance, establishing metrics for assessing ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Identifies and qualifies new suppliers as needed
- Organizes, directs, and implements cost-reduction activities to ensure maximum flexibility while minimizing inventory.
- Implements processes to manage risk within the supply chain and monitors procurement procedures to comply with government laws (domestic/international), regulations, and company policy, including maintaining Approved Supplier List (ASL)
- Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

- Provides oversight and direction to the employees in accordance with AEVEX's policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
- 5+ years' experience as a manager in a supply chain environment
- Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
- Frequently required to lift up to 15 pounds
- Occasionally experience a high level of noise, adverse weather or temperature conditions
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
