    AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a strategic and detailed oriented Supply Chain Manager who is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

    This role involves analyzing data, forecasting demand, developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategies to improve supply chain performance.



    Essential Functions:

    Responsible for leading a supply chain team including staffing, training, coaching, and professional development
    Generates and manages department budget.
    Optimizes department workflow; creates and maintains policies and procedures.
    Maintains required quantity of materials, parts and services to meet production goals.
    Works within custom, low volume, specialty environment.
    Manages physical inventory and provides results annually to the leadership team

    Coordinates and supports needs of stakeholders (programs, operations, engineering, etc.) to provide information and guidance on availability and cost of materials, parts and services.

    Ensures materials and parts storage are in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    Focuses on achieving best value for material, parts and services.
    Responsible for suppliers performance, establishing metrics for assessing ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
    Identifies and qualifies new suppliers as needed
    Organizes, directs, and implements cost-reduction activities to ensure maximum flexibility while minimizing inventory.
    Implements processes to manage risk within the supply chain and monitors procurement procedures to comply with government laws

    (domestic/international),

    regulations, and company policy, including maintaining Approved Supplier List (ASL)

    Qualifications:
    Strong supervisory and leadership skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, customers and co-workers.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Thorough understanding of Aerospace industry, aircraft parts and materials requirements and regulatory environment.
    Creative problem solving skills
    Strategic and analytical mind
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    Thorough proficiency with ERP configuration and and use.

    Leadership Competencies:
    Directs and provides expert knowledge in the day-to-day function of the department.

    Education / Certifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus

    Experience:
    5+ years' experience as a manager in a supply chain environment

    Physical Requirements:
    Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
    Frequently required to lift up to 15 pounds
    Occasionally experience a high level of noise, adverse weather or temperature conditions

    Security Clearance:
    Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
