    AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a strategic and detailed oriented Supply Chain Manager who is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role involves analyzing data, forecasting demand, developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategies to improve supply chain performance.

    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for leading a supply chain team including staffing, training, coaching, and professional development
    • Generates and manages department budget.
    • Optimizes department workflow; creates and maintains policies and procedures.
    • Maintains required quantity of materials, parts and services to meet production goals.
    • Works within custom, low volume, specialty environment.
    • Manages physical inventory and provides results annually to the leadership team
    • Coordinates and supports needs of stakeholders (programs, operations, engineering, etc.) to provide information and guidance on availability and cost of materials, parts and services.
    • Ensures materials and parts storage are in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    • Focuses on achieving best value for material, parts and services.
    • Responsible for suppliers performance, establishing metrics for assessing ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
    • Identifies and qualifies new suppliers as needed
    • Organizes, directs, and implements cost-reduction activities to ensure maximum flexibility while minimizing inventory.
    • Implements processes to manage risk within the supply chain and monitors procurement procedures to comply with government laws (domestic/international), regulations, and company policy, including maintaining Approved Supplier List (ASL)

    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Thorough understanding of Aerospace industry, aircraft parts and materials requirements and regulatory environment.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Thorough proficiency with ERP configuration and and use.

    Education / Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    • Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
    Experience:
    • 5+ years' experience as a manager in a supply chain environment
    Physical Requirements:
    • Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
    • Frequently required to lift up to 15 pounds
    • Occasionally experience a high level of noise, adverse weather or temperature conditions
    Security Clearance:
    • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.

The anti-drug program requires urine testing for the following five specific drugs - marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, and PCP.
