    Description

    Title: DevOps Engineer

    Duration: 6+ months

    Location: Raleigh, NC preferred - Primarily remote, some on site visits as needed, must be within 2 hrs' of Raleigh

    Position Description:

    We are searching for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining our software development lifecycle. You will work with CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments and production application delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server on-premise.
    • Automate provisioning and configuration management
    • Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation scripts.
    • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient workflows.
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of the CI/CD pipelines.
    • Maintain environments for Development, QA, Training and Production.
    • Stay up-to-date on DevOps trends and technologies.
    • Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer.
    • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
    • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell. IIS experience preferred.
    • Experience with on-premise Azure DevOps Server or VSTS – if you're a seasoned PowerShell & IIS pro we can train you on Azure
    • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts & being open to working with PowerShell+ DSC as your main IaC tool
    • Experience in Desired State Configuration (DSC) for Windows a plus
