**Buyer**
Purchasing Bristol, Connecticut Minimum Experience **Entry-level** As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders from initial preparation to final verifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Review purchasing needs from tooling, raw materials, office and shop floor supplies.
Monitor internal inventory levels.
Issue RFQ's to review for pricing and delivery.
Communicate quality issues and issue returns as needed.
Work with engineering/production to find comparable alternatives when products are out of stock.
Work with setup team leads to research tooling options when preparing parts for first time runs and also when troubleshooting machining issues is needed.
Schedule delivery of available stock items under blanket orders.
Expedite and check status of parts at outside service.
Work with AP to verify payments through an internal price list.
Analyze, schedule, plan and control all inventory and purchased items based on your own collection, analysis and summarization of data and trends.
Job Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent certifications
3+ years in manufacturing industry required.
Experience with inventory management
Customer service experience preferred
