- Provide direct care and treatment to long term and rehabilitation residents.
- Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care.
- Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments.
- Communicates with the Nursing team and medical team as appropriate.
- Reviews and evaluates the resident care plan.
- Transcribes Physician orders.
- May assist in orientating new staff.
- Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility.

A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care and assessment to long term and rehabilitation residents. A Registered Nurse may supervise duties performed by LPN's and CNA 's in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager., Nursing Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing.Primary Responsibilities
