- Actively address, update, and close tickets
- Support the staff and students with their educational needs as a floating or building technician
- Prioritize daily activities including tickets and administration requests
- Support Windows workstations
- Troubleshoot Chromebooks, optimize, Powerwash, or update tickets for repair
- Install and troubleshoot peripherals like printers, interactive boards, scanners, and video displays
- Promote security of the school district by reviewing and updating security filters and physical devices
- Join the team in evaluating and implementing IoT
- Work with other technicians and IT support staff to update documentation
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- 1 – 2 years of technical experience, deskside preferred
- 2+ years customer service experience
- Support level experience in Windows Workstation OS 10 and 11, Chrome OS, networking, wired and Wi-Fi installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of ticketing systems
- Knowledge of advanced endpoint protection and anti-virus protection
- Able to maintain composure in a fast-paced setting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School diploma required; some college preferred
- A+, HDI or ITIL certification
- Individual will be required to pass NYS Education fingerprinting and background check before starting this role, in addition to Custom's background requirements
- This role is a first shift onsite position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
