    Description
    CCS is seeking a forward-thinking Level I Technician for a role in a K-12 environment. This position involves promptly addressing deskside support tickets, meeting administration's requirements, and updating security filter content. You'll also get to explore and maintain new technologies introduced to the district. Collaboration with IT colleagues, district IT personnel, and third-party vendors is a key aspect of this role. THIS ROLE STARTS JULY 1ST, 2024

    This position is paying between $42,000-$48,000 annually. Pay will be based on experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Actively address, update, and close tickets
    • Support the staff and students with their educational needs as a floating or building technician
    • Prioritize daily activities including tickets and administration requests
    • Support Windows workstations
    • Troubleshoot Chromebooks, optimize, Powerwash, or update tickets for repair
    • Install and troubleshoot peripherals like printers, interactive boards, scanners, and video displays
    • Promote security of the school district by reviewing and updating security filters and physical devices
    • Join the team in evaluating and implementing IoT
    • Work with other technicians and IT support staff to update documentation
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 1 – 2 years of technical experience, deskside preferred
    • 2+ years customer service experience
    • Support level experience in Windows Workstation OS 10 and 11, Chrome OS, networking, wired and Wi-Fi installation and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of ticketing systems
    • Knowledge of advanced endpoint protection and anti-virus protection
    • Able to maintain composure in a fast-paced setting
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • High School diploma required; some college preferred
    • A+, HDI or ITIL certification
    • Individual will be required to pass NYS Education fingerprinting and background check before starting this role, in addition to Custom's background requirements
    • This role is a first shift onsite position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
