- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related field
- Good track record of research and publications
- Strong background with device fabrication in a cleanroom environment
- Familiarity with RF/microwave measurements
- Experience with device simulation tools (e.g. Silvaco Atlas, Synopsis Sentaurus, ADS)
- A minimum number of 3 peer-reviewed journal publications in the field
- Ability to work independently, with limited direction, as well as within a team environment
- Ability to mentor and inspire students with limited research experience
- Experience with electron-beam lithography
