    Senior Accountant (Operating Expenses)

    Location: Herndon, VA - Position will be hybrid

    Responsibilities:

    • Senior accountant will support manual accrual process - posting accruals at end of each month (Excel uploads into NetSuite - research if accrued or not accrued). This is heavy during the end of month, for rest of month, will have other accounting tasks.
    • Senior Accountant should understand cycle of accruals, invoicing, and expense analysis at end of month.
    • Senior Accountant will complete intercompany transactions
    • Senior Accountant will assist with SG&A taxes
    • Senior Accountant will support general ledger accounting
    • Senior Accountant may assist with debt agreement and supporting tasks related to this
    • Senior Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested

    Requirements:

    • 2-3+ years in a corporate accounting environment experience
    • Degree required
    • Previous NetSuite experience is a plus but NOT required - will be trained on our client's process
    • Must understand operating expenses
    • Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP's
