Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a strong accounting background, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to meet deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of working effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

Complete full month-end close for multiple entities, consolidating to parent entity

Experience with related party transactions and eliminations, consolidating financials
Understanding of deferred revenue and revenue recognition processes on contracts

Reconcile GL accounts to ensure accurate classifications and maintain work papers for balance sheet accounts for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
Prepare and analyze financial statements in a timely manner
Support corporate forecasting and analysis by forecasting revenue, direct costs, and SG&A/indirect costs at contract and corporate levels
Manage cash flow in short-range and long-range forecasts
Accounts Payable - receive vendor invoices, obtain necessary approvals, and process payments
Accounts Receivable - generate, send, and track client invoices
Administer and reconcile payroll, including 401(k) administration
Prepare and file business licenses and personal property tax returns
Liaise with tax CPA firm for audit and preparation of annual returns
Experience with Unanet is a plus
Demonstrate strong Excel skills
Address any other ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Strong mathematical abilities
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle information with confidentiality
Familiarity with accounting software is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
Proven experience in meeting regular deadlines
