- Creates, maintains and reviews technical documentation such as preventative maintenance, calibration and process specifications.
- Performs repairs, calibrations and preventative maintenance on a variety of semiconductor test platforms and automation systems, to include pick and place, and gravity fed handling systems.
- Converts semiconductor test and automation equipment configurations to meet production requirements.
- Provides daily production and engineering support to meet customer ship schedules.
- Addresses other tasks as they arise such as; maintaining maintenance spares inventory, parts ordering.
- Understand knowledge of intellectual property issues relative to processes being developed.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintains and updates the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Installs and commissions new equipment
- De-commissions equipment; including but not limited to physically removing equipment from the test floor.
- Supports the 5S lean manufacturing program
- No degree required, but must have commensurate experience; or Associate's degree in engineering discipline; or other equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in semiconductor production, preferably in automated gold ball bonding or copper ball bonding. Experience with AOI systems and semiconductor experience helpful.
- Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883, ISO9001 and EIA/JEDEC and standards
- Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision in concert with engineering.
- Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite
- Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Fluency in English

General Summary
The Staff Equipment Maintenance Technician assists with repair, conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment used for production testing and development of semiconductors. This individual will communicate and collaborate with internal departments including, Test Operations, Engineering and Quality daily to assist in reaching company objectives.
