    At Nation Security we are hiring a Director of Operations to join our Miami office who will lead our security team and ensure top-notch safety for clients in a fast-paced professional setting. Your key duties will include creating and executing security policies, offering training and growth opportunities for our security personnel, and overseeing thorough security audits and investigations.

    The perfect candidate for this position will showcase outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, possess a deep knowledge of security procedures, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.

    Security Director of Operations Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance security operations throughout each region
    • Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing guidance
    • Collaborate closely with clients to assess their unique security requirements and tailor customized solutions
    • Foster strong partnerships with local law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and relevant stakeholders
    • Continuously assess security risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
    • Supervise the implementation of security protocols and procedures, ensuring strict compliance
    • Deliver timely and precise reports to senior management on security operations, incidents, and emerging trends
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to continually elevate our services


    Ideal candidate's qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (a Master's degree is preferred)
    • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in private security, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performing team
    • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction
    • Profound knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices
    • Proficiency in utilizing security-related technologies and software
    • Possession of relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) is a valuable asset
    • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and local laws governing security operations in Florida
