- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Five years' of leadership experience as a dean of students, assistant principal, or in classroom teaching.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona Driver's License by the time of hire.
- Valid State of Arizona Teaching Credential
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Annual revision of student handbook and enforcement of student code of conduct
- Responsible for maintaining student organizations policies
- Manage records and correspondence related to student affairs
- Oversee campus activities and facilities
- Collaborate with school counselor, teachers, and administration
- Deal with off-campus student behavior in coordination with local authorities
- Handling student emergency situations and contacting parents
- Coordinate fundraising events and detention procedures
- Track student academic intervention sessions
- Contribute to the creation of school schedules and course offerings
- Provide academic coaching and counseling
- Support data analysis and supervise instruction
- Facilitate assessment scheduling and coordination
- Attend meetings with parents for academic planning
- Assist in recruiting and interviewing new staff
- Coordinate professional development for school staff
- Working with students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Grade-book monitoring
- Acting as ELL Liaison if required
- Detail-oriented task execution
- Performing duties as assigned by the school principal

About the Position
The position of Dean of Students involves overseeing a variety of programs that support a diverse student population. This includes student resources, discipline, advocacy, and campus safety. The Dean coordinates student development and academic success initiatives, collaborating with the site principal, parents, school counselor, teachers, and staff to enhance student achievement.
