    Job Opportunity: Human Resources Generalist at Payroll Service Firm


    Join our team! Our Payroll & HR Firm is looking for a skilled Human Resource Generalist. In this role, you won't just handle typical HR tasks; you will be involved in innovative projects that challenge you to think creatively and expand your HR expertise. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in driving our firm's success.



    Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    • HR Coordination
      • Manage onboarding for new employers and employees
      • Facilitate policy packages and training programs for employers
      • Conduct disciplinary procedures and exit interviews
      • Maintain HR policies in compliance with labor laws
      • Provide employee support and respond to inquiries
      • Maintain accurate employee records
      • Handle Workers' Compensation, Disability, and Paid Family Leave Claims

    • Payroll Support
      • Develop payroll and benefits strategies
      • Manage HR databases and update information
      • Support Payroll staff with various tasks
      • Ensure compliance with labor laws
      • Handle employee benefits administration
      • Assist with operational plan organization
      • Manage Workers Compensation & Disability Benefits

    • Labor Law Compliance and Innovation
      • Stay updated on labor law changes and regulations
      • Develop HR policies and training materials
      • Assist in organizational development processes
      • Facilitate employee communication and feedback
      • Monitor organization culture for employee satisfaction
      • Participate in office-wide committees

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • 3-5 years of related experience
    • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
    • Problem-solving and teamwork abilities
    • Customer service skills

    Language Skills:

    • Spanish (Required)
    • English (Required)

    Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience with ADP and/or Paychex Payroll Systems
