    Description
    Advocates is seeking compassionate, well-rounded professionals to offer clinical support to individuals and families in crisis.
    We are a strong-knit community that values the ideas and contributions of our staff.

    The Crisis Clinician will provide comprehensive community-based emergency mental health and substance abuse services to individuals and families in crisis.


    Minimum Education Required:
    Master's

    Degree Additional Shift Details:
    Monday-Friday 9pm-7am Responsibilities:
    Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in community, clinic, and hospital settings.
    Provide crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation.
    Maintain linkages with specific community services by providing documented case consultations and problem resolution.

    Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of managed care and health insurance systems; Actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.

    Master's Degree in a related counseling field
    Prefered but not required, at least two years' experience with target population (inpatient, outpatient, residential acceptable).

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that is benefitted by the independent successes of all staff members.

    This is an overnight postion full time or part time in Framingham and or Marlboro
