Description

The Town of Wellesley has made a major investment in the maintenance and operation of its school and town buildings through its Facilities Management Department (FMD).

The FMD manages twenty

Reporting to the Head Custodian, the Custodian performs all aspects of custodial services and operations for the department.

The work of the Custodian includes but is not limited to:

routine/detail/ project cleaning of all aspects of the buildings, minor maintenance work, minor landscaping/grounds work, on-call services, food services/cafeteria support, building security, and emergency snow/ice response.

The incumbent must be available for weekend, emergency and stand-by duties as required.

The incumbent performs assigned tasks without close supervision, following established procedures, or with direct instructions on new and different assignments.

Requires a High School diploma or GED; valid driver's license; custodial or related experience; basic computer skills; and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

The pay range for this position is $ /hour. Hours are 5:30p.m.

9:30p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 5:30p.m.

9:30p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The position is not benefit eligible.
