- Center Location: Greenville, SC (+ 8 Upstate Locations)
- Type of Employment: PRN/Per Diem - 32 to 40 hours as needed (NOT FULL TIME)
- Hours: Weekdays (Earliest 7am and Latest 6pm)
- Salary: Starting at $18/hour (Pending experience)
- Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit
- Schedule patient appointments
- Communicate with various parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, and others
- Handle co-pays, manage insurance approvals, and perform verifications
- Provide patients with necessary information about their next appointment
- Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and colleagues
- HS diploma/GED required
- Insurance verification experience
- 1 year of front desk experience
- Health care experience
- Previous therapy experience
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a work shift
- Sufficient manual dexterity for typing and use of 10-key
- Capability to lift up to 25lbs safely using proper techniques
- Ability to carry office supplies weighing up to 10lbs
- Visual acuity for accurate records and directions
- Effective speaking and hearing for clear communication

Overview
When patients arrive at our center in Greenville, we aim to provide them with an outstanding experience, starting right at the front desk. Your role as a patient service specialist involves managing both the patient-facing and administrative aspects of our center. At the front desk, you will serve as a patient advocate, handling communication via email and phone, processing patient payments, and utilizing various computer programs. Every interaction you have can significantly impact each patient's care journey, even before they step out of the waiting area.
Schedule:
**PRN position. Must have reliable transportation and be able to float to all 9 locations
**This position is PRN/Per Diem which means that it does not offer guaranteed or consistent hours.
