    Material Planner - Cell Therapy Portfolio

    Position Overview:


    My client is seeking a highly motivated Material Planner to oversee the planning and procurement of materials essential for the production of their cell therapy products.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in material planning within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on cell therapy or biologics manufacturing.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute material plans to support cell therapy production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to assess demand forecasts and ensure alignment with production goals.

    Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory while maintaining continuity of supply.
    Identify and mitigate potential risks to the supply chain, proactively resolving issues related to material availability or quality.
    Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize cost and quality.
    Utilize ERP systems and other planning tools to track materials, monitor order status, and generate reports for management review.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry.
    Prior experience with cell therapy manufacturing highly preferred.
    Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
    Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
