    Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the team serving the greater New York City area The ideal candidate must reside in the Northern NJ or greater NYC area or be able to relocate.

    As the Field Services Engineer, you will deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.

    What you will accomplish together with us:


    You will provide exceptional customer careand build positive relationships with customersIn the event of an issue, you will provide technical support to customersOne of your responsibilities will be to tie workflow to scheduleto minimizeunnecessary traveland travel to customers by ground, train, and air transportation as neededYou will provide training to customers on the essential use and operation of Bio Analytics instrumentsYou will performfieldservice,calibration,and installation of complex mechanical systemsand perform preventative maintenanceand field sterilizationsOne of your tasks will be to assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations.

    Follow all company's procedures and protocols, as well as, perform software updates/upgradesYou will assist in drafting documentation of process and procedure as requiredKeep accurate records via written and paper form, keep an accurate count of parts assigned to the engineerRegularly, you will be asked to produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reportsand prepare customer-facing estimates of repairsPass along identified leads to the sales managerTravel to our Ann Arbor, MI, Albuquerque, NM, Fremont, CA, andadditionalfacilitiesand sitesfortrainingandconferencesas neededAll other duties as assigned by managementExpect up to 25% overnight travel to support Field Service activitiesLift items that weigh up to 35 Kg


    What will convince us:


    You have completed an Associate's Degree or certifications in engineering or military training and 5+ years of proven field service experience.

    You are able to troubleshoot, test,repair,and service technical equipmentwithexcellent mechanical,electrical,and IT skillsYou have a minimum of 3+ years of field service experiencein the Bio-Pharmaceutical industryYou have a valid Driver's LicenseYou are proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

    Base salary offered for the position is $75, $110,000.00 depending on experience.
