Description
Eagle Harbor, LLC , a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking Senior Marine Engineer - Naval Architect with the ability to work as part of a team responsible for designing, producing and repairing safe, sea-worthy surface or underwater vessels in Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate will need to have a creative, logical, and inquiring mind.Design and build basic structure of ships
Design and supervise construction of aircraft carriers, submarines, sailboats, and tankers.
Establish arrangement of boiler room equipment and propulsion machinery.
Operate or supervise the operation of marine machinery on ships.
Select materials and write specifications for suppliers and construction workers.
Research use of new materials and techniques.
Use complex mathematical and physical models to ensure that the ship's design is satisfactory.
Undertake risk analysis assessment of ships and other marine vessels.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Fifteen years of experience with government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering.
Experience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition the (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects.
Active Professional Engineer's License or Mechanical Engineering License.VEVRAA Federal Contractor
