Introduction


We are seeking a Product Technical Support Expert to join our Filters Technical Support team in Beneficiation & Dewatering BL in Services BA.

Our team provides support to all Metso Outotec filtration technologies, and therefore we have diverse needs for different disciplines such as EIA, mechanics, hydraulics and process know-how.

In this role, experience and knowledge of filtration technologies and processes is essential.


What you do:

Manage and handle technical support requests in filtration technologies as part of a global team
Provide technical expertise and customer support for filtration equipment, also on-site as required
Support the Market Areas' and other Business Lines' competence development through training and mentoring
Provide input and feedback to product development and continuous improvement activities
Support sales activities by providing technical expertise to selected sales cases
Participate in the development of technical training resources, training content, training plans and execution in co-operation with the Training Academy and Market Areas
Provide expertise in technical claim and warranty handling as requested
Provide input to technical documentation, such as manuals, spare part catalogs and maintenance instructions & recommendations
Contribute to and assist with the management of a technology knowledge database.
Develop and maintain Service workbooks for Metso Outotec Filters product portfolio


Who you are:

You have an engineering degree or equivalent, in the area of mechanics, automation or process industry
You understand filtration equipment and processes and have at least a few years of relevant industry experience
You have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate well in English (both written and verbal)
You take accountability for your work and enjoy problem-solving
You can manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines with a strong customer focus
