What you will do:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to join our Metso Team in Mesa. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company's products meet the company's quality standards and contract regulations.

They work with the quality team on inspecting, testing and quality standards, and they also work with employees in general to ensure they understand the quality standards that are required throughout the process of the organization.

This position handles data related to quality to analyze the company's performance as well as quality reports and documentation that are required as part of the quality procedures.

In this position, you will report to Quality Manager, Services Operations.

This position is mainly located in Mesa, AZ and will be required to be onsite. This position may also include up to 10-15% travel.


How will you do it:

Coordinate closely with the quality inspectors, and various departments regarding acceptance and rejection criteria and processes,
Learn and understand the Quality Management System for the Mesa, AZ, repair center.
Write and edit inspection reports and other quality related documents.
When needed train or help other employees on quality procedures.
Maintain calibration and certification records.
Provides quality related information to internal and external customers.
Assist with and proactively plan Quality Management System related activities to ensure audit compliance.
Assist with the development of policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
Work with the local engineering team, product line engineering and quality team on NCR's.
Maintain effective communications, relationships with customers, potential customers, and Market Areas.


What we look for:

Four (4) Year applicable Engineering, Business or English Degree (or equivalent experience)
Certification with ISO-9001 QMS preferred
Certified lead auditor for ISO preferred
Mining industry experience preferred
Consistently demonstrates high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales Strategies, and/or Project Management; 5 years preferred
Experience with regulatory compliance and auditing
Knowledge of nondestructive testing methods preferred
A high level of in-depth knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PP, Access, Outlook, Projects)
