WHY WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU
- We are in a dynamic phase, supporting numerous clients in enhancing their operations, reaching significant revenue milestones, and expanding our team. We are eager to achieve ambitious revenue, product, and team size objectives. We are particularly focused on growing our engineering, product, and design departments as they are pivotal to Retool's success. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our talent acquisition team, engineering leadership, various stakeholders, and engineers to define our hiring standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will play a crucial role in our talent team, concentrating on recruiting top-tier engineers across all teams and product divisions. This presents a remarkable chance to establish processes from scratch while significantly influencing our company culture. We have substantial goals this year and require an experienced technical recruiter to engage with motivated engineers aligned with our vision of building a leading company as recognized by Sequoia Capital.

YOUR SKILL SET:
- 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting expertise with a primary emphasis on hiring software engineers
- Proficiency in identifying, attracting, engaging, and managing the interview process with high-caliber engineering candidates effectively
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of the Silicon Valley startup landscape and leveraging this insight for successful sourcing and hiring strategies
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, Ashby, Gem, and LinkedIn
- Strong foundational sourcing abilities, capable of crafting customized searches independently
- Desire to collaborate with team members while also possessing the autonomy to work independently
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
- Lead the complete recruiting process, from initial candidate contact to finalizing offers in collaboration with our engineering leadership, engineers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the Retool Engineering and TA teams to explore unconventional methods to engage with potential candidates.
- Be responsible for efficiently guiding candidates through our recruitment pipeline while ensuring data accuracy and cleanliness.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the success of your role, including the TA team, hiring managers, HR/compensation, and other cross-functional partners.
- Utilize recruitment metrics to guide your activities, providing insights and managing them effectively.
- Contribute to Retool's goal of establishing a diverse and high-performing organization.
- The U.S.-based annual salary range for this position is currently between $115,900 and $194,800 USD.
