JOB TITLE:

DUTIES:
Develop software solutions to solve problems across retail


Duties include:

create software build and deployment process; design a high available, scalable, and secured infrastructure for Java/NodeJS based applications; implement and maintain VPN connectivity from 7-Eleven store devices to AWS Cloud; implement and maintain secured authorizations for 7-Eleven store/user and transactions authentication; develop Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments (CI/CD) Pipelines to support build and deployment processes for Java/NodeJS/Python based applications; design and build a Disaster Recovery plan for the Services running in AWS using multi-region, and support applications with active-active and active-passive use cases; deploy and maintain artifacts, deploy release build, and produce products for testing and use in production; design applications to support multiple version deployments; design and develop microservices architecture; monitor AWS Service updates and maintain secure updates with no application downtime; automate manual and regular tasks with Shell and Python scripts; monitor Application Servers for status/health, troubleshoot the issues encountered, and help team members with problem solving process; stay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies, libraries, and frameworks; and learn and partner with peers across multiple disciplines, such as computer vision, machine learning, and systems design.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field followed by 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, AWS Cloud Engineer, or a related/similar position.

Experience therein to include 3 years of experience involving each of the following:

DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments (CI/CD); Jenkins, GitLab, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, AquaScan, Nexus and JFrog; AWS ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway; AWS VPC, Subnets, EC2, CloudFormation, Kinesis, RDS Aurora, Postgres, Dynamo DB, IAM, CloudHSM, CloudWatch, S3, Docker, VPC Endpoints, RouteTables, NAT gateways, Security groups and VPN; and Python, Shell, YAML, JSON, Linux, and Node.
