I've have worked as a manager responsable for DFW AIrport Fire Training Research Center  training prop's and the buildings  for 6 years. I also worked for Chevron USA. as an Operations Specialist for 7.5 years and a total of 18 years offshore on the oil and gas platform

Experience

The Critical Operations Technician I is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing/piping equipment, machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building. This role monitors operations and conducts a routine and ongoing assessment of the building systems, operations, and performance. This role performs tests, rounds and analyzes data to ensure the proper functioning of departmental equipment.  The role is also responsible for assisting customers on the Data Center floor both in person and via the telephone, performing customer equipment installs, managing tickets within the ticketing system, communicating and escalating alerts and customer requests to systems engineers for resolution, and completing tasks pertaining to computer hardware, software or operation systems.  This role requires on-site work hours to support a 24X7X365 data center environment and is not eligible for remote and/or hybrid work.

Facilities and maintance manager

I am  responsible for keeping  the training props  operational and maintenance. I maintaining the budget. I also work on the PLC's,coordinate work with third part contractors, order parts and make daily schedule for employee's also light electrical work.• Propane and E-III fire trainers (not exhaustive list)
Prepare trainers for all training. Start-up, operation and shutdown
Trouble shooting, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration of associated equipment (procedures replacement parts)
Work with equipment supplier on modifications
Coordinate contractors for welding repairs and piping leaks beyond my capabilities
Coordinate contractors for other repairs beyond my capabilities
Order and accept consumables directly related to fire trainers (propane, smoke fluid, nitrogen, E-III, de-foaming agent)
Track fuel usage and send logs to EAD and TCEQ annual reports and ETAM for contract estimates
Assure compliance to EAD, TCEQ and EPA rules and regulations
Take appropriate actions to prevent freeze damage

• Water filtration system-duties include, but not limited to:
Operation of fuel/water separator for proper treatment of waste water to be sent to TRA system
Repair and preventive maintenance of system
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair with outside contractors when beyond my capabilities.
Coordinate periodic cleaning of E-III pit and 40,000 gallon underground tank (frequency yet to be determined due to newness of system)
Assure compliance with EAD, TCEQ and EPA rules and regulations
Take appropriate actions to prevent freeze damage

• Automated valve system-duties included, but not limited to:
Trouble shoot and repair actuators on seven 6” valves, one 10” valve and one 26” valve, and associated equipment, including, but not limited to, sump pumps, power, control power and alarm circuits
Coordinate contractors for repair and/or replacement when beyond my capabilities

•Following safe operating practices as described in the MCABU Safe Practice Manual.

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain oil and gas production equipment.  
•Perform duties (as detailed below) associated with oil and gas producing operations; including but not limited to plunger lift, rod pumping and flowing wells, and compressors:
•Optimizing artificial lift systems. 
•Testing wells and safety devices.
•Acquiring fluid level information.
•Record keeping and data input. 
•Computer control systems.
•Operation and monitoring of SCADA. 
•Partner with other employees, and contractors to ensure that all equipment is operating at peak efficiency. 
•Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization. 
•Assure all work performed adheres to Chevrons Operational Excellence standards and regulatory requirements. 
•Other duties as assigned
