Position:  Network Engineer

  • Implement, design, install, test, configure, and trouble-shoot VoIP Soft-Switches, Telephony Systems, Lan/Wan networks, Microsoft Solutions (Client OS, MS SQL Server, Server’s, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP), and the Network Infrastructure (DS3, DS1, DS0 etc).
  • Responsible for opening internal/external trouble tickets, analyzed network traffic, and established interconnect between VoIP carriers.
  • Responsible for establishing interconnect between SIP, H323, SS7, ISDN (many more protocols) protocols and troubleshooting of them for keeping proper signaling also worked on several protocols such as UDP, RTCP, RTP, DNS, DHCP, ATM, and Frame Relay etc.
  • Install, upgrade, trouble-shoot, and test software on CISCO (routers, switches; CUCM Call Manager), Microsoft Servers (Windows Server 2K/2003/2008, Database Sql 2000/2005, Win XP/Vista, Win NT, and applied Group Policies), F-5, Fiber Systems, Hyper-V, Vmware, EMC Storage, IBM-SAN, and NetApps Storage systems. 
  • Brocade Switches and ESXi – Sphere: Installed, configured, tested, troubleshooted Brocade switches and ESXi VSpere SAN switches. Also, configured IBM SANs and Microsoft SQL Servers to connect to the Brocade Switches and ESXi platform. Performed network packet captures to determine what is causing network issues and/or latency issues. Installed the Brocade in the ESX Sphere to support virtualization and SAN Storage Platforms. The infrastructure was used to support Call Center Environments.
