    Description

    We are currently partnered with a leading global asset manager specializing in real estate investments across diverse markets covering special situation assets. With a strong track record of delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors, they are seeking a talented and motivated Real Estate Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on both acquisitions and asset management, providing exposure to the full lifecycle of real estate investments.

    The Real Estate Analyst will play a key role in supporting the acquisitions and asset management activities of [insert company name]. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of real estate finance and investment principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Acquisitions:

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities in target markets worldwide.
    • Evaluate potential real estate acquisitions through financial modeling, investment underwriting, and due diligence.
    • Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal approval processes and investor communication.
    • Support the negotiation of purchase agreements, financing arrangements, and other transaction-related documents.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and asset management, to ensure successful execution of acquisitions.

    Asset Management:

    • Monitor and analyze the financial performance and operational metrics of assigned real estate assets.
    • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize property performance and enhance value.
    • Prepare annual operating budgets, business plans, and asset-level financial forecasts.
    • Identify opportunities for value creation through lease-up strategies, capital improvements, and operational efficiencies.
    • Coordinate with property management teams and third-party service providers to execute asset management initiatives and achieve performance targets.

    Reporting and Communication:

    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and investors, providing updates on acquisition pipeline, asset performance, and investment strategies.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on investment objectives and execution plans.
    • Act as a liaison between the acquisitions and asset management teams, facilitating seamless transition of properties from acquisition to ongoing management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA/CAIA designation preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, asset management, or investment banking.
    • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel, Argus, or any real estate financial software is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of real estate valuation methodologies, capital markets, and investment principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external stakeholders.
    • Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
