Founded in 2018, we currently own interests in and/ or manage seven hotels and 17 bars and restaurants with AUM in excess of $325M.


Position Overview

Position Responsibilities

  • Originate, underwrite, negotiate, and close operating, valueadd, and new build hotel and experiential real estate investments.
  • Oversee and drive the underwriting and due diligence of each transaction including financial modeling; market surveys; financial analysis and the creation of investment overviews.
  • Work with legal counsel to negotiate purchase agreements, partnership agreements, loan documents, hotel management agreements and related legal documentation.
  • Lead asset management of hotels and other investments, including investor reporting, major capital events (e.g., financings and refinancing), strategic assetlevel business planning, and the eventual sale of each property.
  • Develop and maintain financial models on existing assets using portfolio benchmarking and DCF models to track and review assetlevel returns and performance.
  • Consolidate, analyze and model financial data including budget analysis and income statement forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Train, develop, and oversee investment analysts and associates.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial real estate including a minimum of 4 years of direct hotel acquisitions and asset management experience on the principal side
  • A bachelor's degree in hotel administration, finance, or business; MS/MBA a plus.
  • Must have an owner's mentality and act as a fiduciary for each asset and investment.
  • Effective negotiator with demonstrated ability to achieve consensus.
  • Sophisticated financial skills and capital markets perspective with ability to structure investments to achieve Company's investment requirements.
  • Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Strong network of contacts among owners, managers, brokers, financiers, and others active hotel investment professionals.
  • Selfmotivated and driven with the ability to take initiative, complete tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Compensation

  • Base salary and incentives will be commensurate with experience includes full benefits (e.g., health + dental insurance)
