    Description

    The Data Center Logistics and Finance Manager role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including asset management and planning, colleague and vendor interaction, and possibly some hands-on operational work. Responsibilities will include the following:

    • Create asset and financial reports as needed to support accounting, budgeting reviews and projections, taxation, lease administration, and bonding/debonding concerns.
    • Perform or assist in planning for data center changes, including new builds, migrations, and decommissioning..
    • Manage vendor relationships and oversee orders for equipment shipments, repair orders, and disposal.
    • Perform project management and coordination for large or long-term special projects.
    • When necessary, provide regional IDF/MDF support as needed for larger offices; some travel may be required.
    Required Skills:

    This position will require candidates to have the following baseline skillset:
    • Experience working within a data center team, with an ability to act independently and without constant manager supervision.
    • Outstanding spreadsheet skills, with a strong analytical background and attention to detail.
    • Thorough understanding of financial and budget forecasting needs.
    • Thorough understanding of shipping regulations, carriers, customs laws, tax implications, and bonding/debonding of assets.
    • Participation in defining and upgrading data center standards and processes.
    • Experience with ticketing systems and DCIM tools.
    • Experience with data center leasing and monthly expense auditing.
    • Excellent written and oral skills.
    • High level of integrity and self-motivation.
    Highly Desirable Skills:

    Knowledge of and experience with:
    • People, program, and project management.
    • Microsoft O365 tools, especially Excel spreadsheeting skills.
    • Nlyte NAO & NEO (DCIM Tools) and JIRA Service Desk (Ticketing).
    • Familiarity with data center equipment such as Dell servers, Cisco networking, and EMC storage and backup equipment.
    • Understanding of data center resilient design.
    • India STPI equipment bonding/debonding.
