- Perform laboratory experiments and operate analytical equipment like ICP, Auto-titrators, spectrophotometers, and Viscometers. Conduct calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab instruments.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate experiment data, providing project updates and recommendations.
- Lead evaluations of new supplier raw material quality through reviews and lab analyses.
- Drive efforts for quality incident investigations, process improvements, and cost-saving projects.
- Develop proficiency in SAP systems and utilize them effectively in daily tasks.
- Support ISO Quality initiatives by ensuring lab compliance and conducting internal audits of different Veolia functions.
- Collaborate in creating digital tools that optimize team efficiency, enhance data visibility, and improve quality monitoring and process trends.
- Ensure consistent compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and Safety protocols.
- Build strong professional relationships with various teams including Manufacturing, Sourcing, Regulatory, Technology, EHS, Product Management, and Commercial teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field with relevant lab or work experience.
- Proficient in bench-chemistry, analytical instrumentation, wet chemistry, and sample preparation.
- Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Driven to learn and evolve in the role, aiming to become a valuable technical resource for chemical manufacturing and process teams in North America.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

About the Role
The Product Quality Chemist position requires expertise in analytical chemistry and project leadership skills to support the objectives of the North America Product Quality team. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience to tackle challenges, drive projects, set goals, and contribute to both short-term and long-term business objectives.
In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the Quality of Veolia chemical products, focusing on continuous quality enhancements and addressing any quality issues that arise. You will also play a key role in providing chemical expertise and technical support to Supply Chain functions by overseeing supplier quality assessments, improving manufacturing processes, and scaling up new products for production.
Additionally, you will support Technology research initiatives by offering analytical expertise, designing QC specifications, developing analytical methods, and assessing manufacturing capabilities internally and with external partners.
