    Description
    A key client of X4 Communication's are looking for their next Senior Medical Director.

    This individual offers both scientific and strategic guidance, overseeing the scientific communications department and spearheading medical strategy across marketing and medical communications endeavors to produce top-tier scientific content.


    Role Responsibilities:


    Consistently evaluate departmental workflow to effectively distribute resources and assign roles and duties, collaborating with fellow management members as needed.

    Guide medical contributions and communications concerning client and product content development across all clients and new business ventures.
    Participate in professional meetings and congresses to stay informed about the latest developments in therapeutic areas and competitive landscapes.

    Collaborate with and assist Medical Strategy in representing us at internal events necessitating expert insight, while also aiding in the strategic planning and scientific/medical aspects of annual planning and new-business development initiatives.

    Assist new business teams in ensuring the medical data is reliable and that teams are thoroughly informed about all medical aspects of the product.


    Role Requirements:
    PhD, PharmD, or MD required

    At least 10 years of experience in a direct content development role, encompassing advertising, marketing communications, and medical communications, with significant involvement in at least four of the following areas: advertising campaigns, pharmaceutical product launches, promotional education activities, disease education campaigns, promotional medical/marketing initiatives, digital and interactive programs, advisory boards, and identification and development of key clinical experts.

    Must be able to travel as needed by clients.
