    Description


    summary ResourceMFG is looking for a Direct Hire Role as a CNC Machinist Techinician, under the direction of the Engineering Manager, will serve as the machining expert in the ceramics shaping area.


    Direct Hire Role Hours 7am to 4pm Salary:
    $76,400 to 89,800 Responsibility:
    Follow all safety, quality procedures, work instructions, and maintain housekeeping in the work area.

    Using CAM software and internal or customer provided drawings, generate programs for milling a variety of customer parts, determining the suitable feeds and speeds, tooling, or fixtures appropriate for various part configurations, materials, and equipment.

    With the assistance of the engineer, design and machine fixture tooling as needed. Set up various 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC milling centers. Perform debugging and testing of CNC programs in the machining centers.

    Perform first piece inspections using standard measuring instruments to ensure part conformance to drawing requirements and make necessary adjustments to maintain conformance throughout the run.

    Work with process development team to review customer drawing requirements, and establish best process for quality and throughput.

    Support the shaping area through training of operators on new parts, updating programs and processes when needed, assisting operators when problems arise on the shop floor.

    Collect, input, report data in a rapid, efficient, and quality manner, identify issues and bring to management. Clearly, give work instructions both verbal and written including submitting written work instructions to document control database. . Other related duties as directed by management.

    required-skills: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Knowledge of metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMM, Vision measurement systems etc.

    Ability to analyze data results and troubleshoot issues and root cause. Excellent computer skills to include email, excel spreadsheet and word processing. Demonstrated ability to manage own workload. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Excellent interpersonal and technical communications skills and able to work independently and in team environment. Knowledge of statistical process control SPC tools a plus required-experience: 3 years of Process Technician
